Movie Review

The Creature from the Black Lagoon

A group of scientists finds an unusual fossil in the Amazon jungle, one of them goes back to America to get it analyzed and bring back more scientists. Along with others, takes Dr. David Reed and his beautiful fiancée Kay Lawrence off to the Amazon. But in the meantime, a strange creature attacks the camp and kills the assistants. It doesn’t take long before the creature falls in love with Kay, and then the fight between monster and humans begins.

I really love this movie, it’s one of my favorite old horror movies. You will get easily entertained by the unintentional funny fights between the monster and the humans, (where the monsters favorite fighting method is to slap people in the faces, with his big hands.) It’s funny to think that people really thought the movie was scary, when it got published in 1954.

  The Movies is ugly and beautiful made at the same time

I will give it 5 stars out of 6
